Editors' Take
A Valentino gown here, a Guggenheim cocktail dress there... Doris Raymond had too many of them, so now she's taking 60-95% off. Take 'em off her hands before the storefront closes down!
After amassing more than 40, 000 pieces of clothing, between her Los Angeles and San Francisco stores, Doris Raymond, owner of the vintage shop The Way We Wore, decided it was time to do some spring cleaning.
"I've reached the point of critical mass," she shared with the Los Angeles Times back in January about the plethora of apparel. "I can't even walk in my back room anymore."
That's why when you trot down Melrose Avenue, you'll notice her "pop-up" store, an annex that Raymond rented out temporarily, to begin a sale in order to rid herself of the stylish threads clogging up her work space.
But what was a pain for Raymond is a pleasure for the public because this sale takes 60-95 percent off of swanky vintage styles and accessories for men, women and children. The stock is refreshed everyday so that So Cal's well-dressed peeps can have a chance to find something appealing, well, daily.
Sale ends May 15.
