Over 40 art galleries and art museums, including LACMA, participate in “Miracle Mile Art Walk” held on the third Saturday of each month in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.  Each month 20 galleries are featured. Saturday, April 19 galleries include 20 galleries on Wilshire Blvd.

Reception and Artist Lecture (2 p.m.): The April host gallery is the Korean Cultural Center gallery, 5505 Wilshire Blvd. (back entrance), with a juried exhibit of 15 contemporary artists.  A reception will be provided by the gallery.

Free guided tour: A special tour of several galleries is available within the larger art walk. The tour will begin at the host gallery at 2 p.m., and will continue to the other galleries. There will be an introduction to each gallery and exhibit. Transportation will be provided by the Holly Trolley. An RSVP is required. The Holly Trolley shuttle, courtesy of Councilmen Tom LaBonge and Jack Weiss, will make a continuous loop stopping at participating galleries, beginning at Marc Selwyn Gallery, 6200 Wilshire Blvd., at 1 p.m.
