Editors' Take

This once a month open air art show in Pasadena draws an eclectic mix of celebrities and DIYists in search of handmade handbags and one of a kind wearables. There's even a doggie fashion show!

    In addition to the Alternative Art Market, this Sunday the Majestical Roof's "Pop Up Gallery" is honored to host A Quiet Miracle: A display of artwork and writings created by adults with disabilities. The opening reception is 3 - 5 PM. The exhibition will run through July. I have personally seen the art and read the poetry of this exhibit and find it inspiring and humbling. If you don't make it to the art market, do come by to see these works. I guarantee they will move you.
