SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR THIS NOVEMBER: TWO HOT NEW CLUBS HIT LOS ANGELES Boombox Events announces their latest innovative nightlife projectsLos Angeles, CA (November 21, 2008) – Next week, Angelenos can be thankful for the nightlife with the unveiling of two, hot new nightclubs produced by Boombox Events.



Diva at Versus (618 S. Spring Street, 90020) will take place on Wednesday, November 26th, followed by Antipop at Orchid (607 S. Oxford Ave., 90005) on Saturday, November 29th.



Diva will be host to the ultimate of sounds that will have you still tapping your foot to the beat while eating your turkey. Big Syphe, Herick Hell, David Delano, and Eric Dlux will rock the dance floor until the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning. To add to the contagious vibe of the house beats, Ricky Rocks will be manning the drums. Held at Downtown’s former Stock Exchange building, the all-new Versus reveals brilliantly lit 40-foot ceilings and a ground-floor smoking lounge. Streaming fountains and modern touches complement the already gorgeous Art Deco building.



Co-produced with Dennis Bandy and Frank Cortez, Diva has been the go-to club for over 15 years because of its commitment to “being all about the music.†Once taking place every Sunday, the world-renowned club now only makes (highly-anticipated) appearances for special occasions and holidays.



Antipop will highlight a night of house, electro, indie, mash ups, and more with resident DJ Herick Hell and weekly rotations, including DJ Tristal and DJ Roldoes. For one night only, it will be free all night long (unusual for an LA venue of this caliber!). The 700-person capacity club boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, spacious dance floor, and private karaoke areas. Lending itself a Las Vegas vibe, Orchid’s newly remodeled space flaunts its gorgeous lighting, “raining walls,†and posh VIP seating. Perfect for a decadent night out or an after-concert hangout (sits just north of the Wiltern Theatre) with an offering of more than 75 martini flavors and a scrumptious menu served until 1AM.
