It’s just not Christmas without “The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers”, chanted a group of young kids waiting for the Jingle Bell Rockers to sing. This past weekend, the Rockers electrified Main Street at the recent Santa Monica Main Street Holiday Extravaganza.
“The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers”, a Venice based group of professional singers, have been bringing their own zany, flamboyant holiday cheer to LA audiences for the past 7 years.
Once again this year, The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers will be performing between the hours of 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the Abbot Kinney Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday December 13th. This year, local businesses such as Abbot Kinney Real Estate, The Modern Dog as well as Tumbleweed & Dandelion will be sponsoring the Jingle Bell Rockers. With selected times at each store, LA audiences can actually find the Rockers and enjoy their zany antics as they bring holiday cheer like no other Caroling group.
The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers are not your typical holiday group. Yes they happen to be terrific singers, but they also dress incredibly outrageous, and have an amazing amount of energy which makes for a truly fun and lively show. They add a different slant to Christmas Caroling. Their offbeat harmonies and original arrangements bring a zany twist to the classic Christmas Carol. They even perform their own original songs. The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers include Catherine De La Casas, Rory Johnston, Marianne Lewis, Kathy Leonardo, Jon Preston, and Suzy Williams.
They will also be appearing at the Santa Monica Farmers Market on Sunday December 21st from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm. (Ocean Park & Main Street)
Don’t miss The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers perform this Saturday December 13th at these selected stores. You can catch the Rockers at Tumbleweed & Dandelion (1502 Abbot Kinney) for a full hour, from 7:00 pm till 8:00 pm, then at Abbot Kinney Real Estate (1422 Abbot Kinney), from 8:15 pm till 8:45 pm, then on to The Modern Dog (1611 Abbot Kinney) and other local businesses.
The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers are still accepting bookings for private parties.
