Bangers & Mash at La Cita Announces Grand Opening with Guest DJ Fatlip of the Pharcyde
New Saturday Night Hip Hop, Electro & 80’s Party Invades Downtown on May 16th.
LOS ANGELES — April 29, 2009 — The resident DJs of the L.A. Derby Dolls’ afterparties are bringing their blend of eclectic party music to the masses in the form of a Saturday weekly at La Cita. Son of Boy and T-Fal spin a heady mix of club bangers with a mash of electro, house, breaks and new wave to create Bangers & Mash. Opening night on Saturday, May 16th will be no exception as L.A. hip hop legend Fatlip joins the party for a special guest DJ set.
Bangers & Mash will provide both downtown residents and club goers from around the region with an alternative to cookie-cutter weekend nightclubs and the exhorbitant prices of Hollywood. With a $5 cover charge and drink specials on a Saturday night, those looking for a night of dancing won’t have to check their 401K balance before heading out to the club.
La Cita is located at 336 South Hill Street, 90013. The club is close to the Metro Red Line and numerous bus lines. Street parking and various private lots are nearby.
