Fiesta Hermosa (Event Over)

Now in its 37th year, the Fiesta Hermosa bills itself as the "largest arts and crafts fair in Southern California" and aside from beachy breezes and hundreds of people wearing sarongs, there'll also be the annual dog costume contest (always a boggling glimpse into the hobbies of others) and vendors offering up all manner of craft brews and barbecued meats, including the Hermosa Beach Lifeguards’ "famous fish tacos." Don't forget the sunscreen... and the funnel cakes

Over 270 artists and crafters are featured, including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors, and handicrafters. The festival takes place every Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) in downtown Hermosa Beach, California. With the ocean as a backdrop, Hermosa Beach is an ideal place for a summer festival with temperatures of 80 degrees and balmy sea breezes.
