A who’s who of jazz will celebrate the life and legacy of Barbara Morrison when the acclaimed jazz and blues vocalist commemorates her 60th birthday and 35th anniversary in show business on Saturday, September 12th, with a special concert at the John Anson Ford Theatre (located at 2580 Cahuenga Blvd. East), from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.   Jazz greats Gerald Wilson, James Moody, Bill Henderson, and Tierney Sutton will perform as special guests at the rousing jazz and blues celebration, directed by Gloria Hendry. Other top artists set to perform include Ernie Andrews, Wycliff Gordon, Mel Carter, Cathy Segal-Garcia, Charmaine Clamour, and R&B singer Freda Payne (just added), as well as a coterie of other top LA jazz musicians, all celebrating 60th birthdays.
