“Gallery Night Out” Art Walk

The evening Art Walk comes back to La Brea Avenue and Beverly
Boulevard and begins at this month’s Host, DNJ Gallery:
154½ N. La Brea Ave. At 4:30 pm, the main gallery opens the
upcoming exhibition “Aqua & White” featuring the
photographs of Maria Luisa Morando.
Gallery II presents “Going Home: Toronto” displaying
unique acrylic and photographic works by Annie Seaton. Morando and
Seaton will also give Artist Talks I, and II. To follow at 5:30 pm,
is Artist Talk III with Helen Garber at David Desanctis Gallery -
314 N. Crescent Heights Blvd. Light snacks provided. From
8–10pm, celebrating the close of the 2009 Miracle Mile Art
Walk year, the after party will be held at, Thomas Paul Fine Art:
7270 Beverly Blvd. Also featuring the closing reception of the
current exhibition, “24 Square”. In addition, numerous
galleries located along Beverly Blvd., and La Brea Ave. will be
having art openings on this evening.
Be sure to catch the Holly Trolley shuttle, courtesy of Council
Districts 4 and 5. It will once again make a continuous loop
stopping near galleries (look for balloons for trolley stops),
beginning at 4:00 p.m. at 170 N. La Brea Ave. Some galleries
may be closed due to scheduling conflicts.
