The Conga Room

The Conga Room is proud to open its doors once again at Downtown L.A.’s most sought-after location, L.A. LIVE. This new location maintains all the sultry Latin flair that first drew guests to the original L.A. landmark, but is significantly larger and possesses an added sophistication evident in the design and architecture.

At 15,000 square feet, and an ability to accommodate 1,100 patrons, the new Conga Room is three times the size of its predecessor.

The Conga Room is a contemporary space that reflects the vibrant energies of Barcelona and Mexico City.   I n collaboration with several artists, it is designed to pay homage to contemporary Latino culture with special additions including a digital mural and sculptures created by Artist and Film Director , Sergio Arau.  

The Conga Room also boasts a breathtaking VIP area with panoramic views of the Staples Center and Nokia Plaza, as well as full broadcast and programming capabilities.

The Conga Room’s prized restaurant, Boca, will feature Pan-Latin cuisine developed and executed by world-renowned Executive Chef Alex Garcia.   Guests are also invited to enjoy signature cocktails from the awe-inspiring Papaya Bar, designed by internationally acclaimed Cuban American Artist, Jorge Pardo.   All private parties and special event attendees can take advantage of the catering services of world-famous Wolfgang Puck Catering.

Of course, it wouldn’t be The Conga Room if it didn’t provide a daily dose of global-beat music and dancing. The Conga Room will sway to the beat of Tropical, rock en Espanol, Jazz, World Beat and Pop, among many other musical offerings.   On Thursdays and Fridays, guests can enjoy the house orchestra, The Conga Room All-Stars, led by Grammy winner Oscar Hernandez, long considered one of the most gifted and prominent pianist/ arrangers on the contemporary Latin music scene.  

An exclusive partnership with AEG Live will also bring some of the brightest names in entertainment to The Conga Room, attracting top-name performers with its state-of-the-art lighting and sound system.
